BEAUMONT, TX. - San Juan/Donna - Fernando Cantu, 58 died Monday, January 22, 2018 at CHRISTUS Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Texas. Fernando was born on October 5, 1959. He was known for the hard worker that he was as a woodworker and master craftsman specializing in cabinetry at their family business, Cantu Custom Carpentry. He enjoyed life and his children. Fernando is survived by his three children, Monica (Pablo Casas), Javier (Irma Cantu), and Jessenia (Jessica D.), grandchild Andre Casas. He is also survived by his father Arnulfo Cantu, his sisters: Frances, Gisela, Laura, Diana and his brothers: Luis (Sylvia), Adam, Homer (yvette), Eddie (Marylou) Cantu. He was preceded in death by his brother Javier and mother Ofelia Cantu. Fernando was a son, husband, father, uncle, and friend to many. His celebration of life was held on January 27th at Vaughan Funeral Home with Funeral Services at Donna City Cemetery. Vaughan Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
