Deacon Juan Barbosa, 90, died on August 13
th
, 2018. His viewing will be Thursday, August 16 from 1:00-
9:00pm and Rosary at 7:00pm.  Mass Service is at 10:00am, Friday at St. Joseph Church in Donna, Texas
followed by internment at Valverde Cemetery.
Juan Barbosa was a Deacon of the Catholic church for over 50 years and dedicated his life to serving
God. His children and friends will always remember him as a hardworking man and man of great faith.
Juan and his wife opened their heart and home to many friends and family over the years and they will
be sorely missed.
Juan is preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Barbosa who passed away on June 12, 2012.  Juan and
Antonia are survived by their two children Juan Barbosa and his wife Duana and Carolina Barbosa Elkins
and her husband Brian.  Also survived by three grandchildren: Isaac Gonzalez, Alicia Gonzalez and
Rebecca Gonzalez and three great-grandchildren: Elijah Zuniga, Christopher Pineda, Vanessa Pineda.
