Librada Ortiz Rios, born on July 12, 1917 in Los Herreras, N.L., Mexico, passed away in Donna, Texas on August 28, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents: Leonidis and Santos Ortiz; her husband: Paulino Rios; her grandson: Rene Rios, Jr.; and her great-grandson: Rolando Israel Casas. Librada leaves behind her children: Dora (David†) Polin, Joel (Blanca Sanchez) Rios, Omar (Ofelia) Rios, Delia Amaya, Rene (Anna) Rios, and Raul Rios; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Vaughan Funeral Home of Donna is in charge of funeral arrangements.
