Ramiro V. Rodriguez, born on April 4, 1927 in Monterrey, Mexico, passed away in Weslaco, Texas on July 5, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Delia Mata Rodriguez and his parents: Fabian Maldonado and Cecilia Villarreal Rodriguez. Ramiro leaves behind his children: Maria (Jose) Lara, Elizabeth (Noe) Gonzalez, Diana (Juan) Vaiz, Raul (Rosa) Rodriguez, Rebecca (Santana) Duran, Ramiro Rodriguez, Jr., and Rene Rodriguez; 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Ramiro Rodriguez proudly served his army in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946 during World War II. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 11:00am to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary at Vaughan Funeral Home in Donna. Funeral mass will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Vaughan Funeral Home of Donna is in charge of funeral arrangements.
