She proceeded in death by her son Edgar L. Chavez. She left behind her children; Rafael Chavez, Ana Castaneda, Hector Chavez, Margarita Chavez, Jorge Chavez, and Melany Chavez. Ms. Chavez had 13 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
