Abel leaves behind his wife, Veronica Carmona; his children, Abel Escobedo Jr. and Klarissa Escobedo; his mothers: Guadalupe Escobedo, Rosa Jaramillo, and Francis Nieto; his brothers: Agustin (Carmen) Guerra, Ruben (Angelica) Guerra, Gerardo Guerra, his sister:  Lucero (Roberto Martinez) Gonzalez, and his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Jesus Carmona and Luz Carmona. Vaughan Funeral Home of Donna is in charge of funeral arrangements.
