ISAIAS RODRIGUEZ

Isaias Rodríguez, son of Daniel Rodríguez and Eluteria Reyna, passed away at his home on Sunday morning. He was 80 years old. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcela, their two daughters, Leticia and Rosalinda, and his four grandchildren: Gabriel, Olivia, Rene, and Alyssa.

Isaias was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México before immigrating to the United States and becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. He provided for his family for many years, first as a migrant farm worker, then in construction, and later as an employee for the City of Donna. His friends and family remember him as a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at Vaughan Funeral Home at 1701 Hooks Avenue in Donna, TX. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, 1pm to 9pm, with a service at 7pm. The funeral will take place on Thursday at 10 am, with the burial to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.

Isaias Rodríguez, hijo de Daniel Rodríguez y Eluteria Reyna, falleció el domingo por la mañana en su hogar, a la edad de 80. Le sobreviven su esposa de 54 años, Marcela, sus dos hijas, Leticia y Rosalinda, y sus cuatro nietos, Gabriel, Olivia, René y Alyssa.

Isaias nació en la ciudad de Monterrey, Nuevo León, México el 28 de agosto de 1938, antes de inmigrar a los Estados Unidos y luego haciéndose ciudadano americano. Él trabajó como trabajador agrícola migrante, en construción, y con la ciudad de Donna para proveer para su familia. Sus amigos y famila lo recordarán como un ser amable y lleno de amor para su esposa, hijas, y nietos. Lo estrañaremos mucho.

Se despide en Vaughan Funeral Home, 1701 Hooks Ave en Donna, Texas. La familia recibirá visitas el miércoles de 1 pm a las 9 pm. Habrá servicio religioso a las 7 pm. El funeral se llebara acabo el jueves por la mañana a las 10 en la capilla de Vaughan Funeral Home, con sepelio después en el cementerio Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
