Maria Andrea Luna went peacefully to her Eternal Rest on Sunday, July 2, 2017 after a grave, yet brief illness. She was surrounded by her beloved children and grandchildren. Maria was one pf seven children born to Andrea de Luna and Francisco “Tito” Rodriguez on June 19, 1932 at the Tacubaya Ranch. Maria was a simple person with a very witty approach to life. She spent her life as an independent home maker with a few years in retail sales at K-Mart and as a Healthcare Provider. She enjoyed baking, cooking and quilt making.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, sons Alvaro Luna, Alfredo Luna, Daughter in Law Janie Luna and her siblings. She is survived by her children Alcadio (Diana) Luna, Arnulfo (Arlene) Luna, Adolfo (Gregoria) Luna, Jr., Amaro (+Janie) Luna, Alfira (Frank Sosa) Luna, Amanda (Gene) Iglesias, Albesa “Betsy” (Daniel Morales) Luna and Aaron (Raquel) Luna, 34 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and close friends of the family.
