Maurissa Deza Garcia,35, went to be with the Lord on January 1st, 2018. She was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas.

She is proceeded in death by her grandparents and two children, Alexander Lara, and Alexis Hope Lara.

Maurissa is survived by her parents: Guillermo Javier Garcia and Adelina Garcia.

Her beloved husband of 16 years Claudio Alejandro Lara

Her loving and caring daughter Aryssa Faith Garcia

Her brothers and sisters: Angelica Ibarra, Oscar Farias, Erika Flores, Jessica Garcia, Vanessa Garcia, Jesus Garcia as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at Vaughan Watson Funeral Home in Edinburg, Texas, Thursday January 4th at 2:00pm and ending at 8:30pm.

Cremation will follow at a later date.
