Our precious, 25-year-old son, Eliud Garza Jr, son of Eliud Garza Sr. and Cynthia Guerrero was born in McAllen, Texas on October 13, 1994 at McAllen Medical Center and went to be with our creator on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Eliud Jr. was always a respectful, friendly, and compassionate young man and brought joy and happiness to our family as our first born.

Eliud Jr, graduated from McAllen Memorial High School in Academic Year 2013, obtained an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in December 2018 and was short about 15-16 credits from obtaining Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Minor in Business Administration. He left to Ozona, Texas to work as a pipe liner to make money and continue his studies.

There will be a service at Vaughn Funeral Home, 1701 E Business 83, Donna, Texas on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, then on Friday, July 3, 2020 (Vaughn will open its doors by 8:00 am) will be attending mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 E. Champion St., Edinburg, Texas at 10:00 am. Cemetery services will be at 11:00 am at El Granjeno Cemetery, 494, 6556 S Farm to Market 494, Mission, Texas 78572.

Eliud Jr. is survived by his half-sister Mary Elizabeth Garza and his brother Rocky Rogelio Garza, Jessica Lorraine Garza and Edward James Garza. Paternal grandparents, Rogelio Botello Garza and Librada Pena Garza. Maternal grandparents, Ramon Sandoval Guerrero and Andrea Barron Guerrero (†). Aunts, uncles, and cousins on Eliud Garza Sr. side: Two Aunts: Dina Garza Rivera and Alicai Garza Fonseca (Gilbert). Cousins: Monique Villanueva (Richard), Juan Angel Rivera Jr., Jaime Lynn Rivera, Justin Rivera, Jimmy Rivera, Deborah Garces, and Suberina Garces Jaime (Diego).  On Cynthia Guerrero side: Two Aunts: Diana Guerrero Rodriguez (Trinidad), Herlinda Guerrero Montalvo (Heriberto) and Ramon Guerrero Jr. (Sandra). Cousins: Angelica Latice Barber Delgado (Marcos), Aael Guerrero, Zaira Galilea Guerrero, and Andrea Rae Guerrero.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church will start at 10:00 am on friday 7/3/20 and to everyone that will be joining us as not immediate family must be at the church before the body arrives. The Parish Volunteers will take your temperature, provide you with hand sanitizer and will seat you six feet away from the other attendees. Only immediate relatives may arrive with the body.
