Obituary
Pedro "Po" Rivera was 96 years young when he went to be with the Lord. Our wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather was a very giving, caring, kind, considerate, loving and selfless man. He always thought of others before himself.
He cut many yards and delivered many fruits and vegetables to friends and family. He worked all his life being a farm worker, working in the fields of Weslaco for Joe Heller.
He enjoyed going to sell tomatoes on the weekends at the local flea market. He loved putting puzzles together and playing outside with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He spent the last few years of his life together with his wife at Windsor Atrium Nursing Home, devoted to taking care of her.
The staff and residents grew to care and love him and referred to him lovingly as "Pedrito".
He will be very missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Rest in peace "Po". We love you, God bless you. Vaya con Dios, "Pedrito".
He is survived by his wife Celia Rivera, their children Jesus Rivera, Petra Yanez, Jose Luis Rivera and Alicia Rivera Elkis, 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
