Rogelio Cruz Jr

Rogelio (Roy Royito) Cruz Jr. ,41 of Donna, Tx went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2020.

Roy was born on August 21, 1978 in Edinburg ,Tx. He grew up in both Edinburg and Gould, Oklahoma. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 1997 and also attended South Texas Community College.

He Married the love of his life and soulmate, Belinda Cruz on March 17th, 2007. They were married a few days short of 13 yrs. Roy also took pride in all of his family and loved them deeply.

Roy's passion was "trucking" and he worked with trucks (in some form) for all his life. He worked Southern Star Transports for over 10 years. And his pride and joy has always been " R", Cruz Trucking. This was true no matter what trucks him or his father (the other Roy Cruz) had.

Roy was a "one of a kind" person that loved everyone. He made the effort to keep in touch and stay close to all of his family and friends. He always took care of others before himself. He will be dearly missed by many. May he rest with Jesus now.

Roy is survived by his wife Belinda Cruz. parents-Rogelio Cruz Sr. and Marta and Mike McLaughlin; his only sister and brother in law- Michelle and Marcus Bridges; father/mother in law.- Frank Sr and Carmen Garcia;  his paternal grandmother- Cata Cruz; sister/brother in law-Nelly and Carlos Rivas; Brother sister in law- Frank Jr and Eunice Garcia; Nephews and Nieces  as well as many other family members and friends. He is also survived by his special pet dog-Rocky Cruz.

Roy is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather-Donaciano Cruz; maternal grandparents- Marcos and Mela Garcia; and several uncles and aunt.
