Tomas A Ramirez

Tomas Aurelio Ramirez, age 90, a lifelong resident of Donna Tx passed on to eternal life to rejoin  his wife and love of his life, Blasa Ramirez who proceeded in death January 21, 2010 also proceeded in death with their children Yolanda Cruz, Aurelio Ramirez, and Francisco Ramirez including 1 grandchild, and 1 great great grandchild. He passed away Monday June 14, 2021 at McAllen Medical Hospital. He was employed for 23 years at Knapp Sherrill Canning Co. as a diesel shop foreman. After retiring he contributed several years to various local adult day care centers. He was a wonderful, responsible father who instilled the value of hard work to his family and all who knew him. In his final days, he was still adamant of doing a minimum of 1 good deed per day. He was very fortunate and lived a full life, and he took our deepest gratitude for the unrelenting love, admiration and respect he displayed for all his family and those who had the good fortune to know him, his friends were many, he never was too busy to share a moment with someone. We will miss him dearly, we love you dad. You were the best of heroes. May our good Lord and Savior watch over you. Mr. Ramirez is survived by his children: Godelva (Paul) Candelas, Tomas (Susana) Ramirez Jr, and Eduardo Ramirez including 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
